On June 26th I received my 6th degree black belt in Shogei Renshu Ryu. After 25 years in the martial arts and 17 years of teaching I feel very proud to have received my 6th degree. I am always looking forward to the future as I look to start my own Martial Arts style some day. Since I teach many other styles of martial arts within my style I have a hard time calling it Shogei Renshu Ryu. I have added the styles of Kenpo, Aikido and Tai Chi to my system and I am currently searching for a proper name. Any ideas would be appreciated!
